Start with the mounting position.

These framed dome mirrors use a 3 mm polycarbonate face and a powder-coated steel frame. The shape changes the area of reflection and where the mirror can be fitted.

Nominal sizes are selection references, not overall frame dimensions. Coverage depends on room layout and viewing position. Confirm dimensions and ceiling projection against the current drawing before specification.

Which dome shape should I choose?

Start with the mounting position: quarter dome for a right-angle corner, half dome at a wall and ceiling junction, and full dome on a ceiling. Share a room plan so the viewing position and coverage can be reviewed.

Can I order a foam insert and security fixings?

Request them with your mirror. Availability varies by shape and size; not every accessory is held locally. Fixings must suit the substrate and the installation instructions.

Are the listed sizes the overall dimensions?

No. They are nominal size references. Ask for the current dimensioned drawing to confirm frame footprint, hole positions and projection below the ceiling.

Does choosing an anti-ligature mirror make a room compliant?

Suitability depends on the complete assembly, installation, surrounding environment and project risk assessment. Have your project team review the selected configuration and supporting documentation.
